Motorola Keylink helps you keep track of your phone and keys

Motorola KeylinkMotorola has introduced a new Bluetooth smart accessory in the form of Keylink. This device attaches to your keys and helps your keep track of your smartphone as well as keys using the companion Motorola Connect app.
According to the company, in case you lose your keys, you can use the Motorola Connect app on your phone to ping the Keylink device attached to your keys. Similarly, when you lose your phone, you can press a button on Keylink to buzz your phone. It is as simple as that.
This isn’t all, Motorola Keylink can also be used a trusted device in the Smart Lock functionality available on the Android 5.0 devices as well as Droid Turbo and Moto X (2ndGen). Smart Lock allows your phone to get automatically unlocked when a trusted device is nearby, so that you don’t have to enter the unlock password or pattern each time you want to unlock your phone, even though it is with you and not someone else. In addition, the device is splash-resistant and packs a battery-life of one year.
A competitor to HTC Fetch, Motorola Keylink has been priced at $24.99 and is now available at Motorola.com and T-Mobile in the United States. There is no word on the release elsewhere right now.
